Thanks The site is build with a royalte free template, and its simplicity made it easy to implement it.

Hi all,
just a quick note that an official preview of the game has been released for you to play! You can find it on the homepage: http://www.snakeworldsgame.com/
(just click the icon in the gray area).
The final version is shaping up too; have a look at some updated screens in the Gallery section.
Have fun

Hi,
the game is currenly developed for Windows, but the middleware (Python-Ogre) is fully compatible with Linux too. Even Mac OS, IIRC. I'd really like to support these OS's as well in the future.
I need to think about what i could send you. Sending you the .pyc (compiled files) should be possible i guess.
Please let me look into this for a bit

@pompei: i haven't forgotten about your linux request. Supporting multiple platforms is something for which i now have time to (re)consider.

Re: Snakeworlds (3D snake game) *released* at 4/3/09!
Hi all,
This is an update about my own snake game. As of this month, it is optimized to run on netbooks / mini-laptops.
When the game detects this, it will fall back to a low-end mode, to keep the game running with a safe fps.
For the Cegui part it means that i have re-created most screens, because netbooks really have a very low resolution,
which especially makes things difficult to fit vertically.
The update has been tested on two netbooks with N270 Atom processor and Intel 945 chipset.
Here's a two screens:
^^ Acer Aspire One
^^ Samsung NC10
Visit the Snakeworlds for netbooks homepage for details and a Free Demo.
